Tourist Park Cabins now more
affordable
Tourist & Caravan
parks across the country are seemingly defying
the global financial crisis, with consumers
turning in droves to more affordable and family
friendly holiday adventures.
This trend has seen
a dramatic increase in caravan park owners
replacing old van sites allowing them to
increase both their overnight and permanent
tourist and park home accommodation.
Campac, a leading
manufacturer of park homes and cabins is
ensuring they keep pace with both the market
demands, and trends.
"Over
the last 6 months we have researched and worked
directly with many caravan park owners and
managers to find out what they are really
looking for in their park cabin accommodation
requirements, and the results of this research
have helped use improve our existing range, and
introduce many new designs to the marketplace"
says Nigel Martin, Campac's Tourist Park Cabin
specialist consultant.
"Most
park owners are now looking for durability,
modern design, increased comfort for their
clients, but also most importantly low
maintenance" says Nigel.
Campac has
traditionally built using modular sandwich panel
foam construction. This product provides
superior insulation properties, but also has the
added advantage of long term operational life
requiring virtually no maintenance. However,
over the last 12 months they have also expanded
into steel frame construction offering a variety
of external and internal finishes. By
introducing new construction methods and
products, Campac has been able create cabin
products that remain durable and cost effective,
yet are also aesthetically appealing, and offer
occupants a very comfortable and homely
environment to stay.
Campac's range does
not just end with Tourist park cabins - "We
pride ourselves on offering Tourist park
operators a full construction service for all
their requirements. That includes site ensuites,
amenities and ablution buildings, camp kitchens,
recreation rooms, and even laundry facilities.
Campac also offer permanent residential homes
specifically designed of holiday and retirement
homes. Because we construct in factory, and then
delivery completed modular builders to site, our
site works and installation process is very low
impact, therefore offering minimal disruption to
the operation of tourist parks" says Jason van
Hooft, General Manager of Campac.
"We
don't class ourselves as a transportable
builder, rather a factory built construction
company. The main difference between us and
traditional relocatable or transportable home
builders, is although we build off site and
transport the buildings in modular form, the
finished building is of far superior quality to
most on site built dwellings because of our
factory control systems" says Jason.
Campac is a quality
assured company, operating out of state of the
art manufacturing facilities based in Yatala
between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They
operate under the strictest quality control
systems ensuring all buildings are completed to
the highest standard. They also offer a full
turn key solution to clients, being able to
design, construct, install, and even assist with
council planning and approval requirements.

Stunning new range of Factory
Built Homes
Campac Australia, one of Queensland's leading
factory built home manufacturers has launched
its latest range of stunning new homes called
the Metro Range.
Since the recent launch of their new country
series homes, the design team has been hard at
work creating a metropolitan range of homes to
match the traditional building market. The
result is the stunning new Metro range.
"Our aim is to not just provide an alternative
to traditional home designs, but a design and
product which set us apart from what is
considered the norm for transportable homes and
not just match but exceed traditional on site
built home designs" says Jason van Hooft,
General Manager of Campac.
"We dont want to be known as a transportable
home builder, but rather a quality factory built
home manufacturer, and there is a big difference
between the two" says Jason.
The market perception of a transportable home is
something that is trucked in, put on blocks and
can be again relocated in the future. Campac's
product is very different to this.
Matt Martin, Campac's senior housing consultant
says We manufacture homes in a factory
environment, then deliver to site in modules,
which are placed on permanent footings. The end
result is a product similar to a traditional
built home, but with some truly unique
advantages
One of those advantages is a higher quality
product, as Campac operate under a strict
Quality Assurance program so every home leaves
the factory in the highest quality possible.
Another advantage is build time, as the homes
are built in one location, in all weather
facilities, meaning no delays in construction,
and much easier access for suppliers and
contractors to work on the project.
"We are very excited about the future of this
new product range, but we are also not stopping
here. On the drawing board are two new ranges
including a Coastal Series, and a unique
Hillside Series designed specifically to deal
with sloping land in a much more cost effective
way than traditional building methods" says
Matt.

New affordable options for new
homes in rural areas
Campac Australia, one of Queensland's leading
transportable building manufacturers has
launched a revised range of new affordable
homes, specifically designed to suit Queensland
rural regions - the "Country Series".
"Using
customer feedback, and researching what has been
available in the marketplace, helped us
determine what we needed to include in our
designs to make them appeal to the wider public
across rural Queensland" says Jason van Hooft,
Sales Manager of Campac.
Campac has long enjoyed a strong reputation in
the transportable building industry, however
recently has expanded its residential
manufacturing arm to help fill the need for
quality affordable housing.
"By
manufacturing in a factory environment we are
able to reduce buildings costs, but more
importantly increase the quality output of our
finished product. Transportable houses have long
been perceived as an alternative building
option, but our unique construction method means
we deliver a product to our customer, which
provides the exact same level of finish as a
traditional house built on site" says Jason.
Campac's level of finish means clients receive a
level of comfort normally reserved for executive
level homes. They include high quality designer
kitchens with stainless steel appliances, fully
tiled wet areas, optional covered veranda's and
decks, and many features other builders call
extras.
The major added value to a client is the
building time. By manufacturing homes in factory
means Campac can deliver a completed home from
start to finish in around 10 to 12 weeks - this
is a significant reduction in build time over
traditional on site built homes.
"Our
new Country Series of homes represents the first
step in launching a new exciting range of homes
to the market. Over next few months we will be
launching several new series including a range
of Metro Homes, Coastal homes, and even
transportable homes specifically designed to
suit hillside sloping land".
Campac has also developed a new online website
to showcase its products, and customers can
download the latest house designs, and register
to keep informed of future design launches -
www.campac.com.au.
Combining modern designs with the latest
building technologies means we can offer
customers a full turnkey new home, delivered and
installed on site anywhere in Queensland, on
time, and on budget.
